I entered this race almost a year ago because we cannot afford to stall the progress Midtown is making. We need to keep pushing forward on practical solutions for public safety and homelessness, investing in our shared community spaces, and having the backs of our small business owners.
Since then, I have knocked on thousands of doors, been a constant presence at community council meetings, and I have talked with you at coffee shops and in your homes to hear your ideas on how we can keep moving forward while facing a fiscal cliff.
That hard work has paid off. We have built a strong coalition of support from neighbors, small business owners, and trusted leaders in Juneau, as well as on the Assembly and School Board.
Now we are facing our first major financial test of the year. Our APOC reporting deadline is at midnight on February 1, 2026. As I write this, we are just $619.46 away from hitting our fundraising goal for our year-start report.

Our opponent? Well, he is spending his time questioning the patriotism of Midtown families. Dave Donley is sending canvassers to your door to ask if you are “raising patriots.” That is an offensive loyalty test, and we don’t need MAGA culture warriors like Dave checking our credentials.
Midtown has no time for these political games. Dave is fighting a culture war. I am fighting for our neighborhoods. We have serious challenges ahead with Anchorage’s budget and public safety.
Please help us show Dave that Midtown chooses progress.
